Your family is invited to participate in hands-on science activities during our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Day at Marymount University’s Reston Center. Join us for this free event on Saturday, April 18 from 10am to 12pm.
Parents and children can take part in a wide array of fun scientific projects and experiments from “Stomp Rockets” to “Vanishing Water”. The kids are hands-on scientists in our Reston Center laboratories, learning various STEAM principles as they visit each activity station.
The event is hosted by Marymount University’s student chapter of the International Association for STEM Leaders (IASL). Members include current Marymount students seeking degrees in K-12 Education. These students will be on-hand to advise and supervise young scientists.
Marymount Reston is adjacent to Metro’s Wiehle Reston East Station on the Silver Line. For directions to the Center, visit: http://www.marymount.edu/Home/Contact-Us/Locate-us
